EuropArtFair returns to the Gashouder for fifth time

The international art fair EuropArtFair returns to the Amsterdam Gashouder for the fifth time from September 6 to 8 with an offering of nearly 100 artists who collectively represent a wide range of art forms. From objects in bronze, stone, ceramics and glass, paintings, drawings, graphics, to textiles and photography. Visitors will get a quick overview of carefully selected contemporary professional artists from all over Europe and even beyond.

The EuropArtFair distinguishes itself from other international art fairs by bringing a carefully selected group of artists from all over Europe in direct contact with a wide audience, without the intervention of gallery owners or the fair organization. “We offer European professional artists and entrepreneurs their own stage,” according to fair manager Raoul Loch, who organizes the fair with a small and enthusiastic team. “Visitors now have the opportunity to meet selected European artists and exchange ideas with them about their work. In addition, it is possible to buy work directly from the artist.” At this fair, artists can sell their art without the intervention of gallery owners and without having to pay commission. As a result, average prices are much lower than at other professional art fairs. Furthermore, participants in the EuropArtFair have a chance to win the EuropArtAward. This €2,000 prize is awarded by a professional jury of gallery owners and art collectors who anonymously judge the exhibiting art(ists). In addition, visitors can vote for their favorite work and thus determine the Public Prize. At the EuropArtFair, a wide range of art can be viewed and purchased. From the fine arts prints of Amarins Lyklema to the urbex photography of Wil Westerweel and from the abstract and intuitive paintings of Alma Jansen to the artisanal textile art of Saskia Weishut-Snapper. In total, about 100 artists are exhibiting their work in the Gashouder.
