De man van La Mancha

The Man of La Mancha takes the audience to the sunny Spain of a few centuries ago. There we meet writer Miguel de Cervantes and his assistant. The author of The ingenious nobleman Don Quixote of La Mancha ends up in prison by the Spanish Inquisition and has to defend his book. On the spot, he transforms into his self-created protagonist with the other prisoners as fellow players. And so we travel through the story of The Man of La Mancha.
