It is one of the best-selling albums of all time. Rumours by Fleetwood Mac is a milestone in the history of pop music.
On June 6, 2025, a tribute to Fleetwood Mac and in particular to this iconic album will take place at The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. A large live band led by Jan-Peter Bast, along with top vocalists such as Tessa Sunniva and Pieternel Osinga, will provide perfect renditions of “Go Your Own Way,” “Don't Stop,” “Dreams” and “The Chain,” among others.
Few bands have permanently changed the history of pop music. Fleetwood Mac is one such example. Famous, infamous but above all good for a long list of world-famous hits that are part of the collective memory. Also in the Netherlands, the British/American formation was and is immensely popular. In 2015, they even played twice in a sold-out Ziggo Dome. Meanwhile, the curtain has come down on the formation.
On June 6, Dutch musicians and vocalists will bring the spectacular hits to life one last time in the unparalleled setting of The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Bandleader Jan-Peter Bast will take the audience through the highs and lows of the group's history. Relational perils and even breakups sometimes played tricks on Fleetwood Mac and caused drama. In this special theater concert, however, music plays the undisputed leading role. All the big hits that were released - in February 1977 - on the legendary album Rumours, pass by.
This makes this concert an absolute must for fans of Fleetwood Mac, but certainly for music lovers in general. After all, the group's hits are timeless and still immensely popular.
