Star pianist Alice Sara Ott and three musical companions shed new light on Olivier Messiaen's impressive Quatuor pour la fin du temps on Easter Sunday. Cinematographer Andrew Staples frames the performance with stunning video effects, light projections and layered contemporary contexts, bringing to life the hallucinations of the deeply religious Messiaen while composing. The concert was created especially for TivoliVredenburg's Great Hall and will not be performed anywhere else. A drink is included with the concert.
